Tulip Au pairs believe in the equality of humans. Few times host family think its possible to make Au pairs work overtime and do all house cleaning and full time cook. If such issues are reported we as an agency have to withdraw the Au pair from the family. Tulip agency want our Host families and Au pairs to be in a win-win situation. So we do recommend to make sure the rules regarding number of hours and light household work is followed. If the families intention is to have someone to do cleaning and cooking we advice to hire a household help.
Au pair is not an employee. Au pair will get 340 euros as pocket money from host family every month. The au pair is allowed to stay in the Netherlands for a period of 12 consecutive months. After this period she is required to return to her country of origin
