Our goal is to place au pairs who become a part of the family as they provide day-to-day support for both parents and children. The au pair system arose in Europe after the World War II. Families wanted a child care relationship based on a mutually beneficial relationship instead of having a servant.
An Au pair program in Netherlands is a Cultural exchange program. An Au pair is not an employee.
